- It is the symbolic presence of "Noto's Satoyama and Satoumi," which has been designated as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. The landscape includes mountains, terraced rice fields, and the sea, with a total of 1,004 terraced fields. The geometric patterns are truly picturesque. In spring, there is a rice-planting event, and in autumn, a rice-harvesting event. Once the farming season is over, an illumination event called "Azekirameki" takes place, where 25,000 LED lights powered by solar-charged batteries illuminate the terraced fields in four colors—pink, green, gold, and blue—along the pathways, creating what is known as the "PET bottle lights."
